SeneGambian Cultural Week 2010

SeneGambian Cultural Week 2010 is gearing up to be one of this year’s most fascinating African cultural events in the UK.  Preparations are perfectly in the right stream and the line-up of events is as attractive as ever.

The cultural week begins Friday August 6 with a fashion show at the Stratford Old Town Hall. Saturday August 7, the football tournament kicks off and runs through 12noon to 8.00pm. Later that evening Fallou Dieng takes to the stage at Stratford Old Town Hall. Opening acts include Pa Omar Jack, Ngone Ndiaye and Sambou Susso.
The final day of the cultural week, Sunday August 8, begins with Hackney One Carnival and ends with an after party where a line-up of Gambia’s top DJs will exhibit their sound spinning prowess.
